English Homework (Reflection)
Through this vocabulary training exercise I have noticed that a word's contextual meaning can differ from its actual dictionary meaning. Also, I have noticed how you could deprive a word's contextual meaning from the sentences around it. I have also learnt a new method of checking a word's meaning and that is to replace that word in the sentence with the meaning you have devised for it. This way if the sentence can still be read fluently after it has been replaced then the meaning is most likely correct. Hence from this exercise I have picked up new skills and hope to improve from there.
