Collection : The Walk Of Life
* Photos mainly taken be Cel , Model+edit done by Hax

1) Audieu ma Cherii
Taken By: Cel
* Hax calls it Bye my Beloveds on her blog. . .

This is my favourite picture, It is my pride and joy. It inflates my ego. . . (^ 3 ^)
Me and Hax wanted to take a picture of a kid's leg. That was when i stumbled across these little shoes. ( *^*)
It Belonged to a family so I made sure that they weren't looking when I splattered the water all over it (^__^)

I have a love for gorey, bloody pictures so when you see shoes belonging to a family with "blood" splatters what would you think..?
*Innocently whistles*

Qualms:
Oh woe is me~ (T ^ T )
why must Hax put that @#$% Butterfly on top of the shoe!!!!
The shoe is the focus of the whole picture~!!!

2)Our fairytale
Taken by: Cel

*Oh joy~ please do not be like me and think that the words at the back is Vietnamese!
I means our fairytale in chinese~ (Yes it IS Chinese)
What I love about these are the splatters!
These were made by me when I was running away from a Miss Woon armed with her camera! (O A O);;;

Love the texture you put on Hax!~
Watashi wa Daisuki desu~ (^^)

3)Ex&Mal
Taken by : Hax

Excellent work Hax~..but i have no idea what the title means~ (=.=)

4)Hey Mommy....
Taken by: Cel , Model: Hax

I literally fell off my chair laughing. Poor Hax!! The effects and everything was perfect. BUT. . . It is DEATH not DEAD . . . (suddenly changes intoa comical atmosphere)
Guess you would have to redo it with a sigh~ (^__^);;;;

4) Running away
Taken by: Cel , Model Hax

The main concept for this is lost love or running away from life's mishaps.
HOWEVER .. AGAIN Hax has covered the main focus point of this picture and that is the "Blood" splatters!! (T^T)
*goes to the corner of woe*

5) Mizerable
Taken by : Hax

Sorry Hax!! i reanmed it for you (>W<) Yes and it is after Gackt's song *fangirls* i wanted to name it universe of misery because it just has this cosmos feel to it! (heck my english sucks!) But i just thought that the one word name had more of a punch!! it seems like those "blood" splatters are from your heart XD (WOOT sadness is shrouding hax's heart!) Again ...I shall reiterate that i have a fetish for blood~ (VAMPIRE ..not)

6) Audieu Juliette
Taken by : Cel , Model: Hax

Oh I am so glad that I made (FORCED) you stand on top of that podium !
This shot looks great!
I guess enduring those stares were worthed it!
However, we wont wear our PE uniform while doing so . . *gets wacked by Mdm Aini*

But the most embarrasing part was getting stared at by this 4 year old boy! He wore such an expression that made you feel bad for doing these "special" activities. . .

Thanks Hax! I love the shadow too~!
I wanted to take a straight shot but then my hand shaked and what do you know! It turned out great XD

. . . To be continued~! suzuku~! ( that should be to be continued in japanese right? *unsure*)

Places
  • What is the place that you want to visit the most?

The place that I want to visit the most is Japan. The main reason for me wanting to visit Japan is because it is the birth place of Anime. Not only will you find Anime stores littering the streets, you will also find rare merchandises that are only available in Japan. As for me, I already have my eyes set on the art books available there. Especially the "Kuroshitsuji" one as for it is illustrated by my favourite artist. It has really detailed art and is worth the money. If you buy the art books and merchandises here, its price is most likely marked up because of the expensive shipping cost.

The thing that I look forward to the most is to see the Cosplayers at Harajuku. Cosplaying is a common thing in Japan and it is regarded to as street fashion so you would not be awkwardly stared at if you do Cosplay. You will find shops that sell Cosplay costumes and it would be a great experience to view the high quality costumes from Japan. However, the thing that I like the most are J-rock and Lolita clothing. Famous brands such as "Baby The Stars Shine Bright" and "H.Naoto" are renounced for selling these two fashions. To get my hands on some of the cutting-edge fashion available in Harajuku would be a dream come true.

I also love the Japanese cuisine especially its desserts. I would love to try one of the beautifully decorated Parfaits which are really popular in Japan. The Hot springs or "Onsens" are like an added bonus to the amount of good things available in Japan. This is another reason as to why I want to go to Japan. There are no Hot Springs here in Singapore so I must visit them if I did go to Japan.

The traditional Japanese architecture such as its temples makes Japan a great place for sightseeing. The scene is especially beautiful in Autumn when the Maple leaves change colour. Besides its architecture, Japan also has natural beauties such as Mount Fuji and the Sakura. These two are the symbols of Japan and attracts tourists. There are also theme parks such as Disney Land and Warner Brothers Movie World.

The only thing bad about Japan is that everything is so expensive. The strong Yen currency makes the situation even worse. There is also the language barrier because I am not fluent in Japanese. But despite this, I still want to visit Japan be I like its culture and all the various things that it has to offer. Japan is a place where I can find most of the things that I like and that is why it is the place that I want to visit the most.

My childhood
  • What was the most significant change during your childhood and how did it effect you?

The time I spent in Australia was the most important turning point in my life. This is because it was there, that I matured and met a friend who would completely change the course of my life for the better.

Before, when I was still in Singapore, I detested studying. I used to hate it and I still remember dreading at the end of every Sunday because I had to wake up really early the following day. I adopted a carefree attitude towards studying. I did not study hard nor did I not study at all. I had no goal to head towards to so there was no motivation to push me through the stressful Singaporean education.

That was a fact until I met my best friend Amanda Lee. I met her during my last year in Perth where we were arranged into the same class. We were already acquainted before this because her mother had worked at the Cafe which my parents had owned. However, we did not get along at first. It was only through a really close mutual friend named Ines that we started talking to each other. Amanda and Ines were the ones who introduced me to Anime. They had already known each other for a really long time and was half way through an Anime called "Inu Yasha" when I came into the picture. It was not long until I found myself addicted to Anime and this sparked my interest towards the Japanese culture. Anime is now a significant part of my life and I cannot imagine a life without that dose of Anime to de-stress at the end of the day.

Not only did Amanda significantly change my life by introducing me to Anime, she also made me like studying. It was through her and her sister Cassie that I finally found a real goal to work towards to and that is to become a doctor. Looking back at it, we were always fiercely competing against each other but yet we were still the best of friends. It was this friendly competition that had sparked my interest in studying because she would always beat me by just a little bit. Neither of us wanted to lose so we would keep on trying our best. She was also a really good project partner and I do miss working with her. We think alike and almost always ended up doing a much better job when we worked together. Now, even some of her personality has rubbed off on me. Sometimes I find myself prancing around, singing to myself like an airhead , the way she used to behave.

I would say that meeting her was the most significantly change in my childhood. This is because she was the one who influenced me the most and has shaped most of my world to make me who I am today.

English Homework: Idols

Mana-sama

I have known and loved many bands and singers. However only one stands out from the rest and that is Mana-sama. The Japanese rock and Lolita culture have always fascinated me. Though J-rock is not my preferred choice of music, I still love the bands and singers that major in this particular genre of music. Be it the heavily bleached hair, the coloured contact lens or the complicated dressing styles, I love all these aspects as they make the culture unique and in a class of its own. Mana-sama, being one of the figure heads of this culture, was a name I naturally stumbled across while researching about it.

I have profound respect for this beautiful cross-dresser who revolutionized the J-rock scene. He not only created a whole new type of rock by combining classical music with Heavy Metal, He also created two new lines of Gothic fashion called "Elegant Gothic Lolita" and "Elegant Gothic Aristocrat" which he designs for his brand "Moi-Meme-Moitie". He is an originalist and I love him because of that. That is why many like me have dubbed “Mana” as "Mana-sama" to show our respect for him and his many achievements.

However, he does have quirks which many find weird. For example, He rarely smiles and talks in public claiming that "music is his voice and that it speaks for him." Hence, in all of the interviews, either subtitles would appear or he would just whisper into the ear of a confidante who would then relate it back to the interviewer for him.

But to me, these are the things that make up my impression of Mana-sama who, in my heart, is the only one who can come close to being an idol. Ironically I am not a die hard fan of Mana-sama’s but the main reason as to why he is my idol is because he is not affected by other people’s opinion of him and dares to express his own true self. It is those very quirks which had been deemed strange that made him internationally famous and unique. Through him, I have learnt to be my own true self because not everyone would accept you for who you are. That is why, he is my idol.
